RE:IMAGINE A Music & Dance Collaboration

Art House Cafe, 555 Somerset St W, Ottawa

Saturday, January 21st, 2023 8-10 PM EST, $10 cover at the door

Mark Your Calendars: I am so excited to present Re:Imagine to the Ottawa community at the beautiful Art House Cafe, Saturday January 21st 2023, from 8-10 pm.

Re: Imagine extends across artforms, space and time, reuniting myself and dancer/choreographer Elizabeth Emond-Stevenson in a live dance-music collaboration.

With the goal of reanimating still and silent public spaces, we explore classical and improvised forms, sharing impulses, reacting and responding to their surroundings through a multidisciplinary performance of the solo repertoire of J.S. Bach.

Hope You Can Join Us!

Music Commission For the National Art Gallery!

I have some exciting news to share! I have been commissioned to write a piece of music for the National Art Gallery for their exhibit Uninvited, that will be on display starting March 2023.

"Uninvited will showcase the work of women artists from across the country, providing a broad and diverse accounting of female creativity in Canada a century ago. In this exhibition, organized by the McMichael Canadian Art Collection, audiences will see the work of women from all parts of our nation as they respond to a period of dramatic, and sometimes traumatic, change." -McMichael Canadian Art Collection

I am so excited to be taking part in this commission project! Looking forward to sharing more about this new work and the piece of artwork it is inspired by...

Still, is a short EP made up of four movements. Music is such a powerful force for expression. In this short EP, Still acts as a sonic reflection of remembrance. Keeping You In the Loop: Refuge of Meaning Premiere Refuge of Meaning: Thank You! Whether you were there in person or in spirit thank you for taking in Refuge of Meaning.
